The Friends of the Library Annual Book Sale will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 26;  9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, July 27 and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 28. This year there is quite a collection of non-fiction which the committee has sorted by subject for easier access. There are military history books, biographies, foreign language broken out by language, travel, gardening, building and home repair books. The Book Sale Committee at the Haywood Public Library has been sorting and arranging books since last year’s annual sale.

This year there is the largest collection of small books for young children. Every age group can find books.  There are books for middle school students, high school students and a sizeable collection of resource books geared to parents, especially for home schooling parents. Bring boxes and bags, but no large strollers.

For information or to volunteer, call Sandy Denman at 627-2370 or 452-5169.
