Plan to attend the annual Friends of the Museum Dinner at Lambuth Inn at Lake Junaluska on Friday, August 9, at 6:00 p.m. The program will feature Dr. Charles Brockwell, a well-respected Kentucky Conference minister and theologian. An open house at the World Methodist Council Museum will be held from 4:00-5:30 p.m. prior to the dinner.

Dr. Brockwell, who is the son-in-law of Dr. Wright Spears, will speak on the topic, "Getting It Straight about Aldersgate." This year marks the 275th anniversary of Wesley's Aldersgate experience. Special music will also be provided.

Make your reservations now by calling the World Methodist Council Museum at 456-9432 or by visiting the World Methodist Council office. The cost is $18.00 per person (which includes tax and tip), and may be paid for by check, cash, or credit card. You may also join or renew your membership in the Friends at this time ($25.00 minimum donation).

Your support of the Friends of the Museum is critical to maintaining the excellence of this world treasure we have at Lake Junaluska. For more information, contact Don Rankin, 452-5034.
