Debra Frizzell, RN, an intensive care unit nurse at MedWest-Haywood, was  awarded the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses.
DAISY Award honorees personify MedWest’s patient experience, and consistently demonstrate excellence though their clinical expertise. They are recognized as outstanding role models in the nursing community.
Frizzell became a registered nurse in 2008 and has worked for MedWest-Haywood for more than four years. Known for showing the highest level of dedication and commitment to her job, her peers recognize her as an irreplaceable staff member.
“Deb is a supportive team player, realizing how to use environmental services to support her role. For a young woman, I feel she has talent and great ability, and is an asset to MedWest,” an environmental services coworker said. ...
