Gallaway concert, workshop to be Jan 26, 27

The Creative Thought Center is hosting an, “I Choose Love” concert, featuring Shawn Gallaway, at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 at the HART Theater, 250 Pigeon St., in Waynesville. Gallaway, “The Singing Sage,” is a singer songwriter, visual artist, author, ceremonial healer, workshop facilitator, energy worker and Certified Lifeline Practitioner.

He has traveled the world sharing his message of healing through the arts, branding conscious music, a movement calling attention to the significance and to the consequences choice has in everyone’s lives.

Gallaway is facilitating a workshop from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, at the Creative Thought Center, 449-D Pigeon St., in Waynesville. During the workshop, relationship myths are examined by interesting and challenging means which inspire changes for highest good of all. It’s fun, it can be hard but above all it’s rewarding. The workshop is titled “Gender Reconciliation Workshop, He/She/We –The Privilege,” and puts forth the philosophy that ordinary men and women possess the caring and capability to share in deeper, more meaningful ways.

The workshop cost is $60 or purchase a package for both the concert and workshop in advance  for $75. There is a snow date of Feb. 9 and 10. All tickets are non-refundable
