Loving Nana

WAYNESVILLE —  Glenda Martin Arrowood, 66, passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at John F. Keever Jr. Solace Center.

A native of McDowell County, she was the daughter of the late William B. and Fern Messer Fulbright.  Glenda was employed by Patton Morgan & Clark Insurance Agency as a personal lines and service agent for 33 years.  She enjoyed traveling, her grandchildren, and was a member of Riverside Baptist Church of Asheville.

She is survived by a son, John Martin Arrowood, and his wife, Kim, of Royse City, Texas; three grandchildren, Garrett, Kaylee and Gavin Arrowood; and several cousins, including Joe and Gail Griffey.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Rev. John Honeycutt officiating.  Inurnment will be at Panther Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
