Loving Mother

CANTON — Carrie “Glenda” Taylor Cox, 76, of Canton, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012.

She was born May 14, 1936, in Haywood County,  to the late Hansell Howell Taylor and the late Samantha Faye Shelton Taylor. Glenda was blessed with a large family of eleven brothers and sisters. She was a loving wife of the late Frank A. Cox and a loving mother and is survived by three sons, Curtiss H. Royster, Robin D. Royster and Alan T. Cox; a daughter, Dawn Marie Cox; two daughter-in-laws, Nancy Royster and Diana Mitchell; four grand-children, Angela Royster, Nathan Royster, Curtiss Royster, Kevin Royster and a great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Crawford / Ray Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunny Point Baptist Church Cemetery.
