SALISBURY — Mrs. Glenna Mildred Gaddy Hill, 87, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Monday, Dec. 10, 2012.

Born May 24, 1925, in Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Grace Rhodes Gaddy, of Waynesville.

Mrs. Hill graduated from Haywood County Schools, completed training as a licensed practical nurse in 1966, and worked in various clinical settings until retirement.

She and her husband relocated to High Point, in 1970, and again to Salisbury, in 1991. In 2006, Mr. Hill preceded Mrs. Hill in death.

A life-long Christian, Mildred attended several worship centers during her life, and for the past six years was a faithful member of Neel Road Baptist Church. Her life was a witness of her Christian faith, and as a role model for all women; an inspiration to all ...
