Golfing in WNC is one of the things to do!

One need not be in the Haywood County area of Western North Carolina long to know that golf in the spring, summer and fall (along with hiking, trout fishing and going to craft shows) is considered “the” thing to do. Of course, there is leaf watching and winter skiing, but just maybe those are two different groups. Just maybe — and I say that without much concern for protest — golf really stands alone.
There are many great golf courses in the area — too many to mention and elaborate on their qualities, so this focus is on four things that make a good golf course great.
