The Groovy Movie Club, a club for Haywood County denizens who love movies, will be screening "The Words" at 7 p.m. this Friday, Jan. 11. Starring Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana, Jeremy Irons, Denis Quaid and Olivia Wilde, it tells he story of a struggling writer who finds a brilliant, unpublished novel in an old suitcase. He soon finds himself in an incredible moral quandary, one in which he's constantly dancing between fame and ruin. A potluck kicks off the evening at 6:15 p.m. Please bring your best organic, hopefully local, savory dishes and deserts.
