A new Silent Auction begins on December 12th, 2012, at the Haywood Habitat ReStore at 75 Montgomery Street in downtown Waynesville.  Sixteen items have been selected for this pre-Christmas event.  All these pieces have been donated by generous people of Haywood County wishing to further the mission of Habitat toward eliminating poverty housing in our community.  A featured item is a tall writing desk.  It is solid oak construction with the desk sitting on a separate base.  It is an unusual piece and someone will receive a treasure with a winning bid.  The Auction closes on December 22nd at 3:00 PM.  Phone 828-246-9135 for information
