Nov 13, 2013

ASHEVILLE — The holidays are quickly approaching, and HandMade in America has the answer to all gift-giving needs. On Dec. 13-15 HandMade in America, in partnership with Blue Ridge Food Ventures, will present the second annual Cool Craft Holiday Market.

The market will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec 14 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15 at HandMade in America, 125 S. Lexington Ave. Ste. 101, Asheville, NC 28801 (entrance on Hilliard between Church Street and Lexington Avenue).

The Cool Craft Market will offer the perfect one-stop-shop for holiday purchasers to buy local, handmade items.  There will be over 40 of Asheville’s creative vendors, who will be selling everything natural products, decorative and functional craft items, jewelry, pottery, ornaments, artisanal food products, and much more.  HandMade in America is excited to provide this Holiday Market opportunity to both our community and participating artisans.

Drawing inspiration from Asheville’s passion for local artisanal products, this year’s market will feature a partnership between HandMade and Blue Ridge Food Ventures.  “The clients at Blue Ridge Food Ventures are some of the most creative folks I’ve worked with.  The collaboration of the craft artists of Handmade in America and the artisanal producers at Blue Ridge Food Ventures seems like a perfect fit.  It is sure to yield some happy people on Christmas morning,” says Chris Reedy, Executive Director of Blue Ridge Food Ventures.
