HART Studio presents ‘Falsettoland’

The HART Studio’s last show “I Do! I Do!” presented a warm portrait of a traditional marriage. For contrast get ready for a completely different picture with the next show, also a musical, but about a very different family. “Falsettoland” is a modern musical with a book by James Lapine and music and lyrics by William Finn.

It's 1981, the year of Jason's Bar Mitzvah. Join Marvin, his wife Trina, his psychiatrist Mendel, his gay lover Whizzer, Cordelia and Dr. Charlotte (the lesbians from next door), as they celebrate Jason's Bar Mitzvah and discover the power of love and friendship in this very "modern" family, while Whizzer comes face to face with a mysterious, life-threatening, as yet undefined illness.
