Harvest some fun at the Apple Festival this weekend

Celebrate the Apple Harvest Festival in Downtown Waynesville this weekend, which will feature plenty of juried arts and crafts, live entertainment, food and merchants selling goodies

This annual one-day festival has grown into the region’s premier juried arts and crafts event and celebration of all things apple.

Waynesville nestled in the Smoky Mountains, is the perfect spot to enjoy a glorious fall day filled with fun.

This year’s festival will feature exhibitors, live entertainment and great food. Come, and be among the crowd of thousands of apple lovers strolling the street.

Take home a peck of locally grown apples from the county apple growers association. The festival lasts from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Scheduled entertainment this year includes:

10 a.m. – Bobby & Blue Ridge Tradition

11 a.m. – Green Valley Cloggers

11:15 a.m. – Bobby & Blue Ridge Tradition

12:15 p.m. – Green Valley Cloggers

12:45 p.m. – Texas Peat

2 p.m. – Southern Appalachian Cloggers

2:15 pm – Texas Peat

3 p.m. – Southern Appalachian Cloggers

3:15 p.m. – Whitewater Bluegrass

4:30 p.m. – Entertainment Concludes

Parking is available in Waynesville at the garage at 143 Branner Ave., at the municipal parking lot on the corner of Montgomery Street and Miller Street, on Wall Street or at any designated on-street parking.

Please do not move barricades, violators will be ticketed/towed.
