“Devoted”

FINES CREEK — Hascue Lenard Haynes, 91, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013.

Hascue was born Jan. 1, 1922, to the late Henry Patterson and Tilda Payne Haynes.  His kindness and compassionate spirit touched the lives of many individuals throughout his life.  A strong spiritual walk was always a priority; sharing his personal witness with others along the way.

Hascue was a graduate of Fines Creek High School, and attended Blanton’s Business College.  Most of his working years were spent in the wholesale and retail grocery industry.  He worked with several companies during this time, and retired from Thomas and Howard in 1984.

He is survived by Ruby Ledford Haynes, his beloved wife of 68 years; one brother, Cline Haynes of Midland, Texas; and one son, Lenard V. Haynes.  Other ...
