The Haywood Chamber of Commerce has officially launched their 2013 Membership & Sponsorship Campaign April. The campaign will reach out to over 1,000 businesses in the Haywood County Area that are not yet benefiting from membership with the chamber.

Nearly 40 business leaders and 8 teams have volunteered to recruit new members during the campaign.  Volunteers will share their stories about the positive impact the Chamber has had on their business and the many benefits of Chamber membership. The campaign will also include a sponsorship drive focusing on Chamber events, publications, and programs.

The Haywood Chamber recognizes that benefits of membership are essential to the success and growth of businesses in Haywood County. In addition to monthly networking events and professional development programs, membership with the Chamber offers a valuable return on your investment. Chamber membership extends chamber opportunities to all the employees within a business. Employees may take advantage of seminars, networking opportunities and special events that not only provide valuable business information, but also enable employees and business owners to build resourceful contacts.

“The Chamber offers venues to exchange ideas, develop business relationships and increase your professional network,” said Campaign Chair, Nyda Bittmann-Neville, VP, Director of Marketing and Communications for Asheville Savings Bank.   “Taking advantage of Chamber advertising options keeps your company ‘top of mind’, and receiving referrals from inquires to the Chamber increases sales. These are only a few of the many benefits membership with the Haywood Chamber affords your business. Why wait, join us now.”

Chamber programs including Women in Business, Young Professionals of Haywood, Business & Economic Development and more provide distinctive opportunities for business professionals in all fields of work. Events ranging from the Apple Harvest Festival to the Blue Ridge Breakaway draw countless visitors to Haywood County. Ultimately there is something for everyone.

The Haywood Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary, non-profit organization with approximately 500 businesses in the area.  The mission of the Chamber is to create and sustain a successful economic environment. Please visit www.haywoodchamber.com for additional information.
