The Haywood Community Band will play its final free concert of the Maggie Valley Concert Series at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, at the pavilion adjacent to the Maggie Valley Town Hall, on Soco Road.

Theme for the concert will be “Americana,” and will include music from Sinatra such as “Love and Marriage,” and “My Kind of Town; ” River Jordan including familiar Negro spirituals; and An American Spectacular, including memorable music such as “The Girl I Left Behind Me,” “When Johnny Comes Marching Home,” and “Columbia, Gem Of The Ocean.”

Tables and chairs are available for attendees to bring a picnic dinner and enjoy a Maggie Valley sunset. Snacks and drinks are available from the Maggie Valley Civic Association concession.
