The Haywood Community Band will present its second FREE CONCERT of the Maggie Valley Concert Series on Sunday, Fathers Day, June 16 at 6:30 PM. This free concert, sponsored by the Maggie Valley Civic Association, will take place at the pavilion adjacent to the Maggie Valley Town Hall. The theme for the Fathers Day concert will be, "For The Love Of The British." Let the band take you on a musical journey of Briton, and enjoy music that you may have heard before. Music will include selections fromThe Phantom of the Opera, The Symphonic Beatles, Royal Scotch Highlanders, and Colonel Bogey March.
Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy a beautiful Maggie Valley Sunset.
All of the band concerts are free and are held on the third Sunday of each month thru October in Maggie Valley. Our next free concert will be featuring patriotic music on July 21. There will be a special concert on July 4 in Waynesville, at the Court House on Main Street.
