The Haywood Community Band will present its final FREE CONCERT of the Maggie Valley Concert Series on Sunday, October 20. The concert, with the theme AMERICANA, will be at 6:30 PM in the pavilion adjacent to the Maggie Valley Town Hall on Soco Road. The concert series, sponsored by the Maggie Valley Civic Association, runs from May through October annually. Come early, bring a picnic dinner, and enjoy a beautiful Maggie Valley sunset, and music made popular by Dave Brubeck, Take Five. Our America, which has memorable melodies such as Yankee Doodle, Your 're A grand Old Flag, and God Bless The U.S.A., and Seventy Six Trombones.

There will be a special Waynesville concert on November 3 remembering our founder, Bob Hill. This concert will be at The First United Methodist Church on Haywood Street in Waynesville. More information about this concert will be announced in coming weeks.
