The Haywood Community Band will play its final free concert of the Maggie Valley Concert Series on Sunday, October 21. The concert, which is played at the pavilion adjacent to the Maggie Valley Town Hall on Soco Road, will begin at 6:30 PM. Theme for the concert will be "Americana," and will include music from Sinatra such Love and Marriage, and My Kind of Town. River Jordan will include familiar Negro Spirituals, and An American Spectacular which includes memorable music to include, The Girl I Left Behind Me, When Johnny Comes Marching Home, and Columbia, Gem Of The Ocean. Tables and chairs are always available for you to bring a picnic dinner and enjoy a beautiful Maggie Valley sunset.
Snacks and drinks are available from the Maggie Valley Civic Association concession.

A SPECIAL CONCERT will be presented on Sunday, November 4, honoring the memory of our founding director, Bob Hill. This free concert will be held in Waynesville at the First United Methodist Church on Haywood Street at 3:00 PM. Watch for more information to be released in the near future.
