Thursday, October 18th - Great Line up for the Republican Meeting: 1) Michele Presnell (NC House candidate) and Skip Stam (NC House Majority Leader) will be discussing actions in Raleigh; 2) Movie: “2016: Obama’s America” will be viewed; 3) monthly meeting overview ‘Now until the Election’.
5:00pm: Candidate Reception with Michele Presnell & Rep. Stam bring interesting feedback from the last 22 months of Republican controlled NC House and Senate. What will it mean with a GOP Governor? Why do we say this is “History in the making”?
6:00pm: the Movie “2016 Obama’s America” takes the audience on a gripping visual journey into the heart of the world’s most powerful office to reveal the struggle of whether one man’s past will redefine America over the next four years. The film examines the question, “If Obama wins a second term, where will we be in 2016?”
7:30pm: the regular monthly meeting will begin. This will be an abbreviated meeting including discussion of activities between now and November 6th Election Day, including Early Voting - which starts October 18th.
