Haywood residents promoted at JPMC

Nicki Slusser and Tammy Francis, both Haywood County residents, have been promoted at Jackson Paper Manufacturing Company in Sylva.

Slusser has been named president and chief operating officer. She joined JPMC in January 2013 after a 34-year career in the industry, retiring from International Paper Company.

Francis has been named the vice president of finance. She joined JPMC as controller in 2010.

Established in 1995, Jackson Paper is the largest manufacturer of recycled paper in North Carolina.
