Haywood 'Smart Start Free Kids Fest' is April 27

The Haywood Smart Start Free Kids Fest, sponsored by Region A Partnership for Children and Mission Children’s Hospital, will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at the Haywood County Fairgrounds, in Waynesville, at the Dogwood Center, barn and yard. The event is free and is geared for children ages 0 to 5. All families are welcome.

There will be free food, games, prizes, music, skits, puppets, a smokehouse, balloon animals, reading to dogs, face painting, costumed characters, information booths, hayrides, crafts and fitness activities led by local businesses, such as Urban Athletics and Claymates.
