Haywood Spay/Neuter's Spring Microchip Clinic
Have you ever lost a pet? Every year millions of pets are lost or stolen in the United States. A boom of thunder or the crackle of firecrackers on the 4th of July can send our dogs and cats running for the hills! An open door, a loose collar, or a darting squirrel can make the difference between a pet being safe at home and lost in the world! Microchips can help!
Haywood Spay/Neuter is hosting Dr. Nancy East for our Spring Microchip Clinic on Saturday, April 6, 2013, from 9am to 1pm! Microchips for dogs and cats will be only $15! Fifteen dollars could bring your pet home if he or she gets lost! The majority of veterinary clinics and animal shelters use universal scanners and scan stray dogs and cats to see if a microchip registers. If a dog or cat has a microchip, staff can contact the owner and reunite a family!
HomeAgain, the company which furnishes the microchips for this event, helps 10,000 animals each month find their families. Microchips are safe, inexpensive, and effective.
Sign up your dogs and cats by calling Haywood Spay/Neuter, M-Th, 12-5pm, at 828.452.1329. The Microchip Clinic will take place at the organization's office at 182 Richland Street, Waynesville, NC 28786.
