Haywood's Historic Farmers Market Kicks off this spring Saturday, April 20, at the HART Theater/Shelton House parking lot, in Waynesville.  The market is held from 8 a.m. to noon Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Local growers will feature early spring produce and plants as well as meats, fish, cheese and eggs, baked goods, mushrooms, preserves and pickles. Heritage crafters represent the best of the region.  All are invited to join in and get to know the friendly local farmers.
