HCC Small Business Center to offer free 'Intro to QuickBooks Seminar' on Jan. 26
Haywood Community College’s Small Business Center will offer a free seminar on Intro to QuickBooks. This seminar will be held on Thursday, January 26 from 3 until 6 p.m. in Room 203, Building 200 on the college campus.
QuickBooks is the software of choice for the small business owner. The Intro to QuickBooks seminar will explore how different types of businesses are set up in QuickBooks and the different types of accounts that should be associated with your business. Participants will learn how to properly set up QuickBooks, a good plan for data entry, and how to reconcile different accounts. In addition, the basics of bookkeeping will be reviewed to give a clear understanding of how QuickBooks can be a tool for better management of your business.
The presenter is Alicia Sisk-Morris, CPA PLLC. She handles both individual and business tax preparation, financial planning and accounting with knowledge and professionalism. She has the experience to help guide your business through the maze of ever-changing tax laws. Her clients include small businesses, individuals, non-profits, solo entrepreneurs, investors, and real estate professionals.
