HCC students earn career readiness certificates
Students at Haywood Community College’s Regional High Technology Center recently completed requirements for a Career Readiness Certificate (CRC).
The CRC is a portable credential that promotes career development and skill attainment and confirms to employers that those who earn a CRC have basic workplace skills. The CRC exam covers areas and job skills that local industry employers seek. This is the first time students at the RHTC have had the opportunity to receive this credential.
Students who received the CRC are James Allen, Joe Anders, Tobie Campbell, William J. Carver, Dorvan Farmer and Jonathon Messer.
For more information about the CRC, call the Career Connections Center at HCC’s West Waynesville Campus at 246-9233.
