The WNC Home Lawn & Garden Show has teamed up with Manna FoodBank to help fight hunger in Western North Carolina, by offering $1 off admission ticket with a nonperishable food donation.
The Home, Lawn & Garden Show is March 15 to 17,  at the U.S. Cellular Center in downtown Asheville, North Carolina. Receive $1 off regular priced admission, $7 daily or a $15 weekend pass. Each show attendee must bring a donation to be eligible for a discount.
Manna Food Bank relies heavily on donations to fight hunger in Western North Carolina. The producer of the home show, Tim Alexander, has chosen to create a food drive in association with the show.

“The few months following the holidays tend to be slower donation months for Manna FoodBank," said Alexander.  "We hope we can help increase donations for this local nonprofit.”
The most-needed food items includecanned meats, peanut butter, dried/canned beans, hearty soup, meals in a box or can, canned fruits, cereals and grains, fruit and vegetable juice and dry milk.  Avoid foods high in sugars and fats.
