Help make a 'Hunger Free' Haywood possible

A campaign in Haywood County could go a long way toward making a difference when it comes to helping meet one of the most basic human needs — food.

In conjunction with MANNA Food Bank, the regional organization based in Asheville that provides bulk food supplies to many helping agencies in Western North Carolina, there will be a  month-long campaign in Haywood to collect food supplies for those in need.

The best thing about the campaign is that every item collected here will remain in the county to help those in our midst who simply do not have enough to eat.
