Talk about going to the dogs! The next Live and Learn Committee meeting at lake Junaluska will focus on dogs and people who love them. debra Shigematsu of the Lake Junaluska area will present tips to help pet dogs become better household companions. She is a professional horse trainer, and teacher of agility/obedience for dogs at the Creature Comfort Dog Center. The program will be presented at 2p.m. Thursday, March 20, at the Bethea Welcome Center on the Lake Junaluska United Methodist Assembly grounds. Shigematsu owns four dogs and shows them in local and national agility and obedience competion. She will offer advice and answer questions from dog owners. The public is invited.
