Imagine you get the hankering for something sweet to snack on.
So you put some cookies in the oven. Just as you close the  door, the phone rings and its one of your buddies at the Kings of Fantasy.
The two of you chat about daily fantasy sports, baseball, PGA and the upcoming NASCAR race. You lose track of time and all of a sudden, you smell something burning.
The cookies!
You run to the oven, put on the mit, grab the tray and your batch of cookies are hard as a rock, burnt, shriveled up and dried out.
Well, for the NASCAR drivers this week, that’s exactly how their tires will end up as the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup goes to the the extreme heat of the desert in Phoenix, Arizona for the Camping World 500.

Phoenix International
Speedway
All of the Kings of Fantasy’s mouths get dry just thinking about Sunday’s race in Phoenix.
With temperatures predicted to be in the high 80s and lower 90s,  the track temperature, however, will be in the 120s.
Phoenix is a non-restrictor plate race. The dogleg oval, four turn raceway is one mile of asphalt surface.
The race is 312 laps and 312 miles and Chevrolet has owned Victory Lane as a Chevy racecar as won nine out of the last 12 races.
Now that we are three races down into the season, we are starting to figure out which teams are doing the best at implementing their strategies and which drivers are adjusting the best to the new rule and spoiler changes.
And we’ve also seen the first season’s post-race fisticuffs between Kyle Busch and Joey Logano.
There have been some crazy finishes into the season already and all of us at the Kings of Fantasy expect more of the same this weekend.
As always, watch the important practice runs and qualifying on Friday and Saturday to help build your daily fantasy lineups.

Kings of Fantasy’s Turn Four Drivers
Kevin Harvick (DK $11,100):
Harvick who is behind the wheel of a Chevrolet is off to a great start this season except for last week’s finish in Las Vegas.
His right front tire blew, causing him to enter the garage that ended his race day.
Don’t let that worry you. Harvick has won here at Phoenix three seasons in a row, which is impressive, to say the least.
We think he can make it four in a row and worse case scenario, count on a Top 10 finish barring no incidents on the track.
Kyle Larson (DK $9,100): The California native will look to make another impressive showing close to his home state. Larson actually ran dirt track races in Arizona in previous years, so he knows how to handle these high desert heat tracks.
He also drives a Chevrolet.
Brad Keselowski (DK $10,300): The “staple” of NASCAR daily fantasy lineups right now because he is racing so well.
The Kings of Fantasy consider him to be played weekly until he slows down his pace.
Keselowski, however, drives a Ford.
Chase Elliott (DK $9,700): The up and coming young gun is on a tear to start the season. He already has three top 10 finishes.
Elliott will be racing in a Chevrolet and looking to get his first win of the 2017 season and continues to impress the Kings.
