A Caring Lady
Canton — Hilda Lee Brown Cogburn Fish, 69, of Canton, passed away into the arms of the angels on Thursday, July 25, 2013.
Mrs. Fish was born December 15, 1943 in Haywood County to the late Pearl Brown and the late Nora Mea Jones Brown. She had been employed as a certified nursing assistant and touched many lives with her kindness and her caring way. Mrs. Fish attended Pinnacle Baptist Church. Hilda loved her family deeply and everyone blessed to know her- loved her. Her precious memory shall be cherished forever.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kelly Cunningham; sisters, Mary Crawford and Josephine Worley and a brother, Grady Brown.
Surviving are her husband, Charles Fish of Canton; her sons, Ronald Brown, Gary Cogburn and his wife, Gina Cogburn, Scott Cogburn and his wife, Krista Cogburn and Marty Cogburn all of Canton; grandchildren, Cameron, Crystal, Nathan, Chad, Kasey and Kari; great-grandchildren, Payton, Zoey and Landon; sisters, Irene Gibson and her husband, Bobby Gibson of Canton; Betty Williams of Canton; Lee Beauchemin of Cowpens, South Carolina; and Geneva Summey of Canton; brothers, Rev. Calvin Brown and his wife, Teresa Brown of Detroit; Harley Brown of Canton and many friends who loved her dearly.
The funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July, 28, 2013 in the chapel of Crawford / Ray Funeral Home. The Revs. Calvin Brown and Heath Davis officiated. The family received friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home. Burial was in Clarks Chapel Cemetery.
