Join Daniel S. Pierce, author of Corn From a Jar: Moonshining in the Great Smoky Mountains (Great Smoky Mountains Association, 2013), to learn about the history of moonshining in the mountains on Thursday, Nov. 21, at 5:30 p.m. at Canton Branch Library.
Pierce is Professor of History, Chair of the department, at the University of North Carolina-Asheville. Books will be available for purchase (cash or checks only), and refreshments, generously provided by the Friends of the Library, will be served.
