HomeTrust Bank offices held a bake sale fundraiser for Circles of Haywood County, raising a total of $1,000 for the local nonprofit agency.

Circles of Haywood County is part of the National Circles Campaign, which operates in 23 states and 62 communities. The organization was developed to help low-income families get out of poverty by connecting them with individuals and organizations that can assist them.

The Clyde and Waynesville offices each raised $250 through the sale and HomeTrust Bank matched the donations dollar for dollar.

Bria Davis, branch Sales and service manager of the Clyde office, and Kerry Carreno, branch sales and service manager of the Waynesville office, presented Monty Williams, Circles resource team member, with a $1,000 check.
