How to Read People to Increase Sales
The Small Business Center at Haywood Community College will offer a free business seminar on “How to Read People to Increase Sales” on Tuesday, January 29, from 6-8 pm. It will be held on campus in the Student Center, first floor.
Have you wondered why some people seem to be able to know what others are thinking or what they might do next? Fortunately years of study and research have given us a much better understanding of why people make decisions, take actions and say the things they say.
This 2-hour workshop explains the things that you can do to read people more effectively to increase sales and build better business and personal relationships. The learning outcomes of the program include:
- Setting and adjusting the sales environment for the customer or prospect
- Following Verbal and Non-Verbal cues to create a more comfortable and confident sales process
- Handling body language "tells" and especially negative "tells" from the customer
- Assessing your "time-frame" with the customer for maximum result
The presenter is Andrew Sanderbeck, the founder of The People~Connect Institute, an organization that offers consulting and coaching services.
