The Mountaineer is running its annual “Photos with Santa” picture contest on Facebook now to Dec. 14  — or until there are 50 entries, whichever comes first. Readers should email a jpeg of one photo, full name of the child, child’s age and when the photo was taken to: lifestyles@themountaineer.com. One entry per family is allowed. Do not embed the pics in a document; they need to be in jpeg form.
The staff will post the entries on the Mountaineer’s Facebook page.  To vote for an entry, click on the picture, then on “Like” in blue along side the entry. The “Likes” will be tallied.
The three photos with the highest number of “Likes” as of 10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, will be published in The Mountaineer the week before Christmas.
Readers may submit happy photos, crying children with Santa photos or vintage photos. Photos may be in color or in black and white.
Entries started being accepted Dec. 1.
