JACKSONVILLE, ALABAMA —Memorial services for Mr. J.C. Carter, 58, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at the K.L. Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Center Chapel, in Jacksonville, with the Revs. Clyde Hatten and Hak Bae Moon officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Mr. Carter died Sunday, Sept. 16, at Jacksonville Medical Center.

He is survived by his wife, Chong Paek Carter, of Jacksonville; his daughter, Casey Carter Kirkman, and her husband, Aaron, of Sylva a step-son, Jeff Farr ,of Anniston; one sister, Elaine Winfrey, and her husband David, of Diboll, Texas; one brother, C.M. Hall, and his wife, Vicki, of Clyde; and two grandchildren, Reagan Makenzie Hall and Leila Delphia Kirkman.
