Jack M. Blythe

CANTON — Jack Martin Blythe, 90, of Canton, passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at his oldest daughter’s residence in Greenville, South Carolina.
He was the son of the late Herman S. and Roberta Martin Blythe. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran, serving in World War II. Jack was a bombardier and bombardier instructor and flew on the B-29 over Pearl Harbor.
He is survived by two daughters, Sheridan Blythe Johnson, and her husband, David, of Greenville, South Carolina, and Jo Blythe, of Knoxville, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Dr. Jack M. Cole, of Moore, South Carolina, Joshua B. Cole, of Tampa, Florida, Brook C. McCall, of Rosman, Erin B. Mack, of Waynesville, and Jacqueline J.
