CANTON / TRAVELERS REST  — James Alvin Hendrix, 81, of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, and a former resident of Canton, passed away Monday, Aug. 6, 2012.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens in Clyde.

Crawford/Ray Funeral Home is honored to be caring for the Hendrix family and a complete obituary will be published in the Friday edition of The Mountaineer.
