James "Bert" Coley

WAYNESVILLE — James Albert “Bert” Coley, 71, of 1157 South Main Street, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 at MedWest Haywood.
A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Leet Garnett and Nora Myers Coley and was also preceded in death by a sister, Edith Imogene Mintz and one brother, Leet Coley, Jr. Bert was a master craftsman and handcrafted electric guitars as well as bows and arrows. He was also a talented artist and was known for painting beautiful pictures. Bert loved working outside gardening and landscaping and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judy Coley; one daughter, Jamie Ann Coley, of Ponce, Puerto Rico; one stepson, David Faulkner, of Waynesville; four sisters, Edna Mullinax and her ...
