Jason Paul Pankiw
MACON, Georgia — Jason Paul Pankiw, 28, of Wimbish Road, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at his parent's home.
The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bridges Funeral Home in Gray, Georgia. A mass of Christian burial will be said at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7 at Saint John Catholic Church in Waynesville with Father Larry LoMonaco celebrating the mass. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Waynesville.
Mr. Pankiw, the son of George Orest Pankiw and Beverly Brady Pankiw, was born April 15, 1985 in Asheville and had lived in Macon for the past 16 years. He was a 2003 graduate of Jones County High School, and in 2010, he earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology from Georgia Southern University.
Mr. Pankiw is survived by his parents, George and Beverly Pankiw; brother and sister-in-law, Christopher and Megan Pankiw; and by his sister, Rachel Pankiw.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
