Jazz Fest heads toward finale
This Saturday marks the fourth and final edition of the first-ever Fall Jazz Fest at the Classic Wineseller. The Steve Davidowski Duo will offer up an evening of instrumental tunes, paired with dinner from Angelino’s Piattino Ristorante, from 7 to 10 p.m. Previous shows in the four-week festival have featured Eve Haslam, Brian Felix and Zack Page, Pavel Wlosok Duo and Michael Jefry Stevens Duo. The festival has been presented by Satin Steel Jazz, Haslam's local group of rotating players.
Although Davidowski is best known for his keyboard work with the legendary Dixie Dregs ensemble — one of the seminal jazz-rock fusion groups in the '70s and '80s, he has also played in the Nashville-based bands of Vassar Clements, Jerry Reed and David Allen Coe.
