Jones has performed in professional theatres in Chicago, south Florida, and North Carolina, including nearby Flat Rock Playhouse. After extensive auditions in North America, Europe, and Australia, she was one of only nine singers chosen to appear at Tokyo Disney’s Broadway review ENCORE! After a three-year tour of Japan, Ms. Jones returned to the North Carolina mountains to focus on her solo singing career.

Wendy Jones received her B.M. and an M.M. in vocal performance from Appalachian State University, then joined the faculty where she taught voice for eight years before embarking on a full-time, professional singing and acting career. She is currently on faculty at the University of North Carolina-Asheville where she teaches voice and improvisation to jazz voice majors.
