So Deeply Missed
CANTON — Jeffrey Paul Owens, 49, of Birch Street, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013.
Jeffrey was born June 10, 1964 in Haywood County, where he had resided most of his life. He was a U. S. Army veteran and was indeed a firearms enthusiast. Jeff was a proud lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He held a true concern for all animals, especially his dogs. Jeff’s family was very important to him and his nephews and niece brought him much joy and happiness. His memory shall be forever held in the hearts of his friends and family.
Jeff was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Amanda “Amie” Owens of Canton; his parents, Paul and Shirley Garrett Owens of Clyde; a brother, Greg Owens of Leicester; his mother-in-law, Melissa Welch of Canton; his father-in-law, David Winfrey and his wife, Elaine Winfrey of Diboll, Texas; nephews, Cody, Austin, Gunnar, Gavin, Gage and Blake and a niece, Bethany.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2013 in the chapel of Crawford / Ray Funeral Home with the Rev. Alan Davis officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday evening one hour prior to the funeral service.
