Beloved Son

WAYNESVILLE — James Dale “Jim” Galloway, Jr., 55, of 1248 Ratcliff Cove Road, passed away  Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at Memorial Mission.

A native of Haywood County, he resided in Los Angeles for about 15 years.  He was the son of Betty Windham Galloway, of Waynesville, and the late James Dale Galloway.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Christine Ann Galloway.  A 1975 graduate of Tuscola Senior High, he was a member of the concert, jazz, and marching bands.  Jim worked in the electrical engineering field and enjoyed photography, computer games, animals, and camping.  He was a member of Elizabeth Chapel United Methodist Church.
