Musician Jim Rigg will be performing at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, at the Waynesville Public Library, as part of the free Sunday Concert Series.
Rigg started playing guitar seriously at the age of 17 and has been involved with numerous bands throughout the years. His repertoire ranges from hard rock, to country, to acoustic Duos & trios, along with Christian praise and worship bands. Rigg's current music project is playing in the Coffee Branch Band of Canton.
He performs his own original songs, along with main stream Christian and secular music. Riggs has played guitar for more than 40 years, even after being diagnosed as legally blind 20 years ago, with a retina and cone degeneration in both eyes.
Rigg and his wife have lived in Canton for five years. For information on the event, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
