WAYNESVILLE—Joann Ruby Haynes McCracken, 74, of Waynesville passed away at Maggie Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her twin sons, Michael Lane McCracken and Randall Scott McCracken along with her parents, Bertha and Posey Haynes; brother, Alvin Haynes; sisters, Kate Parker, Jonelle Graham, Cathy Holstadt, Georgia Green and her half-sister, Eristine Warren.
Joann is survived by her loving children, Darlene Locklear and Randy McCracken; brothers, Charles (Ruby Haynes) and Jack (Helen Haynes); sisters, Martha (Doug Greer), Jean Caldwell and Lorraine (Junior Sutton) of Clyde; half-sister, Brenda Sauer; half-brother, Jerry Warren; grandson, Matthew Eager of Lake Junaluska and great granddaughter, Skylar Eager of Bend, Oregon along with a large number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016 with Reverend Billy Ferguson officiating at Upper Crabtree Cemetery.
