John Brinkley Jr.
Loving Husband, Daddy
CANTON — In the early morning of Saturday April 1, 2017, John Charles Brinkley Jr., 42, entered into his eternal heavenly home.
Mr. Brinkley was born April 15, 1974, in Durham County, and was the son of the late John Charles Brinkley Sr. and Lucy Ann Mitchell Brinkley. He had resided in Buncombe County most of his life, and in 2014 moved to Canton to make his home.
John had been employed as a quality control technician with a medical parts manufacturing company. Mr. Brinkley was a member of Biltmore Baptist Church. John will forever be remembered as a humorous and kind-hearted person and he was truly a loving husband and daddy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Coley Brinkley.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Louella Dadea Brinkley, of Canton; his son, Elijah Brinkley, of the home; a blessing on the way, a baby boy, Jacob; his paternal grandfather, Coley Brinkley, of Henderson; aunts and uncles, June and David Brinkley of Morristown, Tennessee, and Anne and Charles Aiken of Henderson; and many dear friends.
A celebration and remembrance of John’s life will be held on his birthday, Saturday, April 15, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Crawford / Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
