Enjoy an exploration through the jazz genre featuring many well known jazz classics sung by Voices in the Laurel Childrens Choirs. Concert includes a scrumptious dinner.

The Valentine’s concert will be held at the First Baptist Church, Waynesville from 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 16.

The guest trio of musicians providing music during the dinner is: Ray Lyon, keyboard; Dan Iannucci, bass; and Grady Wiley, percussion. The choir’s musical selections include "Paper Moon," "Side By Side," "Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off," "You’ve Got a Friend in Me," "It Don’t Mean a Thing If It Ain’t Got that Swing," "Embraceable You," "A Tribute to Manhattan Transfer," "Unforgettable," "For the Longest Time" and much more.

Voices in the Laurel consists of three choirs with children from five counties. The choir is based in Haywood County and is under the direction of Martha Brown.
