CANTON — Ralph “Junior” Worley Jr., 77, of Rice Cove Road, passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2012.

Mr. Worley was born May 14, 1935, in Haywood County to the late Ralph R. Worley and the late Polly Scott Worley. He had resided in Haywood County all of his life and was a farmer, talented carpenter and a gifted mechanic. Mr. Worley attended Tabernacle Baptist Church.  He was known as a man who could make, fix or repair anything and he could often be found working in his garden or taking care of his special dogs.  Junior was truly a giving and caring person and was always willing to help others.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Israel.
