The newly formed Haywood Area Wholistic Integrative Practitioners group (HAWIP) is pooling its resources and calling upon the local community to offer a silent auction and reception at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10. The event is being held at “Where Angels Gather,” a holistic retail store and education center, at 124 Miller St. in Waynesville.

HAWIP members are actively gathering donated items and gift certificates from local businesses and service providers/practitioners. This is the first of many events HAWIP hopes to organize, with the intention of supporting the local community throughout the year.

Donations will be accepted until Nov. 8.

In addition to the auction the event will include food, door prizes and entertainment by local musicians.
